The speedy destruction of the wicked, and the preservation of the godly

«To the chief music-maker. Of David. To keep in memory.» Let your salvation come quickly, O God; come quickly to my help, O Lord. For the Chief Musician. By David. A reminder. Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.
Let those who go after my soul have shame and trouble; let those who have evil designs against me be turned back and made foolish. Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
Let those who say Aha, aha! be turned back as a reward of their shame. Let them be turned because of their shame Who say, “Aha! Aha!”
Let all those who are looking for you be glad and have joy in you; let the lovers of your salvation ever say, May God be great. Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, “Let God be exalted!”
But I am poor and in need; come to me quickly, O God; you are my help and my saviour; let there be no waiting, O Lord. But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer. Yahweh, don’t delay.
