Praise to God, and a prayer for help

«A Song. A Psalm. Of David.» O God, my heart is fixed; I will make songs and melody, even with my glory. A Song. A Psalm by David. My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.
Give out your sounds, O corded instruments: the dawn will be awaking with my song. Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
I will give you praise, O Lord, among the peoples; I will make melody to you among the nations. I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples.
For your mercy is higher than the heavens: and your unchanging faith than the clouds. For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be lifted up, O God, higher than the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.
Let your right hand be stretched out for salvation, and give me an answer, so that your loved ones may be safe from danger. That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
This is the word of the holy God: I will be glad; I will make Shechem a heritage, measuring out the valley of Succoth. God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver; Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter.
Moab is my washpot; on Edom is the resting-place of my shoe; over Philistia will I send out a glad cry. Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”
Who will take me into the strong town? who will be my guide into Edom? Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who has led me to Edom?
Have you not sent us away from you, O God? and you go not out with our armies. Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go forth, God, with our armies.
Give us help in our trouble; for there is no help in man. Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.
With God we will do great things; for by him will our haters be crushed underfoot. Through God, we will do valiantly. For it is he who will tread down our enemies.
